Strutters
Who we are
We are small and mighty.
We are creative, curious and thirsty.
We are thinkers, doers, problem-solvers, and dreamers.
We believe in humanity.
We value company culture.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
We wear jeans on Mondays.
We drink beer on Fridays.
We write on the walls.
We bring our dogs to work.
We have a good sense of humour.
We work hard. We play hard.
And we have a good time doing both.
We are a design and communications agency with a passion for helping brands and organizations tell their story, and build relationships with their most important audiences.
We create national engagement programs, corporate communications, strategies, identities, websites, apps, advertising campaigns, annual reports, magazines, posters, product packaging, motion graphics, videos, exhibitions, displays, and this one time we hand-crafted a miniature recreation of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
Remote Work
Wifi signal mandatory. Pants optional.
Not based in Calgary? Not a problem! While our core team of Strutters is located in Calgary, we have adopted a hybrid working model with team members located across the country. What does that look like day-to-day? Glad you asked.
It means that our team primarily works remotely but also in-office from time to time. For our YYC-based Strutters, we have occasional scheduled in-office days for IRL face-time and collaboration but otherwise, the choice is theirs as to where they prefer to work.
For our team members who are not located in Calgary, we stay connected through regular virtual meetings, weekly all-team huddles, and heavy use of Slack. Throughout the year we also host all-team events and Sync Ups where we fly our remote team members in for opportunities to connect sans-screen.
So whether you reside here in Calgary, downtown T.O., or on a boat moored off the West Coast, where you are is not as important to us as who you are and what you bring to the table.
